1. Introduction
DelTrackeroo is a delivery management application operated by Patrick's Continental Breads, serving the Sydney and Canberra regions of Australia. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the DelTrackeroo mobile application.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Mobile Phone Number — Used for account authentication via SMS one-time password (OTP) verification. Your phone number is stored securely and is only used for login purposes.
- Biometric Data — If you choose to enable Face ID or Touch ID, your biometric data is processed entirely on your device by the operating system. We do not receive, store, or transmit any biometric data. We only store an encrypted login token on your device that is released after successful biometric verification.
- GPS Location Data — Collected while you have an active shift. If you grant "Always" location permission, tracking continues in the background when the app is minimised or the screen is locked. Location data is used to allow your manager to monitor delivery routes in real time.
- Photos — Captured or selected by you as proof of delivery when completing a delivery. Photos are uploaded to our servers and associated with the relevant delivery record.
- Shift and Delivery Data — Shift start/end times, delivery completion status, and delivery sequence data are recorded for operational purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Authenticating your identity when you log in to the app via OTP or biometric verification
- Displaying your assigned deliveries and shift status
- Tracking your location during active shifts so your employer can monitor delivery progress across the Sydney and Canberra delivery regions
- Storing proof of delivery photos for operational records
- Recording shift hours for payroll and operational management
4. Location Data
DelTrackeroo collects GPS location data only during active delivery shifts. If you grant "Always" location permission, tracking continues in the background when you switch to another app, lock your screen, or minimise DelTrackeroo. This ensures your manager has a complete view of your route while you use navigation or other apps during deliveries.
We do not track your location outside of working hours or when you do not have an active shift. Location data is sent to our servers at regular intervals during an active shift. On Android, a persistent notification is displayed whenever background tracking is active. On iOS, the location indicator is shown in the status bar.
5. Biometric Authentication
DelTrackeroo offers optional Face ID and Touch ID login for supported devices. When enabled:
- Your biometric data (face scan or fingerprint) is processed entirely on your device by iOS or Android — it never leaves your phone and is never sent to our servers.
- Your login token is stored in your device's encrypted secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
- The token is only accessible after a successful biometric check — if biometric verification fails, the token remains locked.
- You can enable or disable biometric login at any time from the app.
- Disabling biometric login removes the stored token from secure storage.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is accessible only to:
- Your employer (Patrick's Continental Breads) and authorised managers via the DelTrackeroo admin dashboard
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service
- SMS service providers for delivering OTP verification codes
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your driver account remains active. Delivery records, including proof of delivery photos, are retained for operational and record-keeping purposes as required by your employer. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting your manager or emailing accounts@patricksbreads.com.au. 8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted HTTPS connections for all data transmission
- Secure token-based authentication (JWT)
- One-time passwords (OTP) for login verification
- Encrypted on-device storage for login credentials (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore)
- Biometric gating for stored credentials when enabled
9. Your Rights
Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for location tracking by ending your shift or logging out
- Disable biometric login at any time from within the app
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been breached
10. Children's Privacy
DelTrackeroo is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
